Your Role as Assistant Store Manager:
As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll support the Store Manager in leading the team and driving store performance. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high operational standards and delivering a warm, personal customer experience. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their leadership skills within a trusted retail brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Sales Growth: Help lead the team to meet and exceed sales targets while prioritising customer satisfaction
Operational Support: Assist in day-to-day store operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and rota planning
Customer Experience: Champion our friendly, personal approach to service on the shop floor
Team Leadership: Lead by example, support with team training and development, and step up in the Store Manager’s absence
Drive Local Engagement: Support promotional activity and community engagement to boost store performance
What We’re Looking For:
Retail Experience: Previous supervisory or team leader experience in a customer-facing environment
Leadership Potential: Confident, approachable, and able to motivate others
Customer Focus: Passionate about delivering great service and building relationships
Team Player: Committed to supporting the wider team and contributing to a positive store culture
