Buying Manager
We are looking for a Buying Manager to oversee the grocery buying function. In this role, you will coordinate the implementation of key programs across all stores and facilities, ensuring initiatives reflect our core values and deliver success for all stakeholders.
You will educate team members on current programs and relevant market trends, oversee initial menu planning and production for all food venues, and provide hands on training to develop product knowledge and operational skills. Effective communication with stakeholders on project priorities, status, and completion is essential.
You will engage on site with stores to drive program adoption, increase sales, and strengthen financial performance, ensuring merchandising consistency across all supermarket locations. You’ll help establish protocols and standards for new product and venue rollouts, assist with regional product procurement and vendor relationships, and contribute to new store development and design.
A service oriented approach is important, as you will build and maintain strong relationships with stores and facilities. You’ll also support our sustainability efforts and continuously seek opportunities to improve departmental processes.
