Cash Office Associate

$21.00 / Hour
Sunday-Thursday - 8:00a.m. - 4:30p.m.

The Cashroom Attendant will be held responsible for all receiving, distribution, and maintenance of cash on the property.

Essential Functions

Responsible for the management of the property safe including petty cash, cash drawers, and any/all monies to be deposited in the bank.
Must conduct and be responsible for cash audits.
Must follow all property procedures involving any cash entering or leaving the cash room.
Must prepare bank deposits, change orders, and reconcile cash daily from prior days business.
Must notify GM and/or Unit controller immediately about any cash discrepancies.
Must follow and prepare all required paperwork for financial reporting as dictated by UC.
Must follow all safety and security procedures as dictated by SSP company guidelines and Airport guidelines about handling, transporting, and storing cash.
Keep Cashroom area clean and organized.
Maintain supply levels for all necessary items.
Prepare, order, and receive change orders from the bank in accordance with property standards.
Any and all other duties as assigned by Cashroom Manager or Controller.

Required Education & Experience

Minimum 2 years cash handling experience preferred.
Effective written and verbal communication.
Confidentiality.
Problem solving, organizational skills, and ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to multi-task  Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Food service/restaurant experience (preferred).
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or working towards degree (preferred) .
