The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for managing the administrative functions that apply to their specific location. This will include, but is not limited to, HR related functions as needed, administering the employee onboarding process, initiating the employee badging process. This position will also support all administrative functions in their specific location. This position reports directly to the Human Resource Manager, but is also assigned work by the Director of Operations.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing administrative funtions of the office.
Assist Talent Acquisition with weekly recruitment functions.
Responsible for new hire onboarding and orientations.
Guiding new hires in TSA background check applications for airport badging.
Collaborate with benefits coordinator for employee benefits registration.
Collaborate with payroll team and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Assist operations with employee training compliance.
Any other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
Education or equivalent experience in business, human resources, administration preferred
Experience in restaurant or hospitality industry an asset
Fluency in English (written and spoken) required
Dynamic, outgoing personality with a passion for helping others
This is an on-site role at Bradley International Airport
Ability to travel on occasion as needed would be an asset
