Ecommerce Platform & Service Delivery Manager
A leading international retailer is looking for an ecommerce platform & service delivery manager to join our London based Ecommerce IT team, supporting their European market operations. This is a hands on role for someone who combines deep technical platform knowledge with a structured approach to service delivery.
You will take day to day ownership of our their in house ecommerce platform, overseeing the back-end and front-end administration, monitoring system performance and ensuring everything operates reliably across order fulfilment, payment processing, on site experience and digital marketing functions.
You will lead the development of monitoring mechanisms, alert frameworks and escalation processes, and act as the primary problem owner when issues arise, working through to resolution with internal teams and external partners.
Beyond platform operations, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement across our ecommerce support function. You will supervise and collaborate with the ecommerce support team, coordinate platform enhancement projects from requirements through to user acceptance testing, and work alongside the ecommerce product lead to maintain documentation, produce release notes and lead ROI analysis. You will be as comfortable writing epics and user stories as you are drawing system design documentation or running SQL queries to interrogate performance data.
You will have extensive experience working in an ecommerce environment, with a strong background in service delivery, platform operations and working alongside agile development teams. Excellent stakeholder management skills, a pragmatic problem-solving mindset and a collaborative approach to continuous improvement are all essential.
The role is paying up to £75,000 for the right candidate. There is a bonus and benefits package that includes healthcare, life assurance and various discounts. The role is based in Central London with hybrid working in place.
This is an exciting time to be joining, as the company is heading into a growth phase.
