Events Executive - Sales

We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Events Sales Executive to join the Events team at Sea Containers London and One Hundred Shoreditch. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive sales professional with a passion for hospitality, events, and relationship-building to play a key role in driving revenue across two of London’s most iconic lifestyle hotels.
Reporting directly to the Regional Head of Events, with a dotted line to the Assistant Head of Events, the Events Sales Executive will be responsible for maximising event revenue, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional client experiences from enquiry through to event delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
Execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets across event spaces and services
Proactively identify and secure new business through networking, research, and market engagement
Prepare and present compelling proposals tailored to client needs
Quote event space and rates in line with predefined commercial parameters
Client Relationship Management
Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients
Act as the main point of contact throughout the sales journey, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience
Conduct site inspections, confidently showcasing the hotels’ event spaces and capabilities
Event Planning & Operational Support
Collaborate closely with Events and Operations teams to support the successful planning and execution of events
Market Insight & Sales Strategy
Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities
Qualify leads effectively to maximise conversion and revenue success
Identify need periods and implement targeted sales activity to drive demand during low-occupancy times
Maintain strong knowledge of competitor properties and enquiry sales processes
Administration & Reporting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within CRM and booking systems (Delphi & Opera)
Manage event calendars to ensure optimal use of event spaces
Prepare contracts, confirm bookings, and manage payment collection
Monitor event forecasts and performance against targets
About You
Proven experience in events sales, hospitality sales, or a similar commercial role
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Proactive, organised, and results-driven
Confident managing multiple enquiries and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and administrative skills
Passionate about delivering outstanding client experiences
