Purpose of the Role

As a Floor Team Member at F1 Arcade Birmingham, you’ll be at the heart of the guest experience — ensuring every visit is smooth, exciting and memorable. You’ll deliver top-tier hospitality in a fun, fast-paced environment where Formula 1 racing meets premium social entertainment. From welcoming guests and assisting with simulators, to serving drinks and supporting events, you’ll play a key role in bringing the F1 Arcade brand to life.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and engage every guest with energy, professionalism and genuine enthusiasm.

- Support guests throughout their visit: guiding them to simulators, assisting with seatings, and ensuring they understand how to enjoy the F1 experience safely.

- Deliver first-class service across the floor, taking and delivering food and drink orders where needed.

- Collaborate with bar, kitchen, operations and events teams to ensure a seamless guest journey.

- Keep all guest areas — including simulators, bar spaces and seating zones — clean, safe and well presented at all times.

- Respond quickly to guest queries and feedback, ensuring any issues are resolved or escalated promptly.

- Support the setup and running of private hires, group bookings and corporate events.

- Promote additional experiences, special offers and merchandise in a natural and service-focused way.

- Follow all health, safety, food hygiene and licensing regulations, including responsible service of alcohol.

- Contribute to daily team briefings, handovers and operational updates.

- Represent the F1 Arcade brand with confidence, energy and pride, ensuring every guest leaves wanting to return.

Skills & Experience

Essential

- Previous experience in a guest-facing or hospitality role (bar, restaurant, events, or leisure environment).

- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

- Team-player attitude, adaptable and comfortable in a busy, high-energy setting.

- Good attention to detail, multitasking and time-management abilities.

- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

- Professional presentation in line with brand standards.

Desirable

- Experience within a premium hospitality, entertainment or gaming venue.

- Knowledge of VIP or corporate guest service.

- Basic familiarity with POS or booking systems.

- Interest in Formula 1, motorsport or social gaming (not essential, but a bonus!).
