Head of Groceries Buying

A market-leading food retailer is looking for a Head of Grocery Buying to join its established team in London. The company are known for their high-quality natural and organic foods, focusing on strict quality standards—and offering sustainable, responsibly sourced products.

As Head of Groceries Buying, you’ll be leading the largest category for the company, responsible for the largest turnover. With a team of 4, you’ll drive the commercial working closely with the Commercial Director to grow sales and profitability.

Ideally, you will have experience as a Head of Buying, Senior Buyer, or Buying Manager. You’ll be commercially minded, motivated, and solutions-focused, with the confidence to bring fresh ideas and new ways of working. A collaborative approach with clear expectations and excellent communication will be a must.

Basic salary is up to £85,000, plus an annual bonus worth up to £14,000. You’ll also receive share options each year (around €26,000, vesting every two years). The office is based in a central London location offering hybrid working.
