Image & Retouch Coordinator - Photostudio (Full-time)
Selfridges Studio are seeking a full-time Image and Retouch coordinator who will join our Image Team as part of an innovation squad, looking at progressive processes and technologies to elevate asset production. This team member will be responsible for brand imagery audits and supporting the product journey to site, across supplier and in-house asset production, with our brand partners. We are looking for an individual driven by creative solutions and problem solving, and comfortable to communicate ideas and test new ways of working.
Responsibilities
• Own responsibility for Brand Image Audits throughout the site and lead communication from Digital operations.
• Coordinate audit workload requirements within the Image team to meet deadlines
• Meet quality, volume and turnaround targets across projects
• Retouch new categories and test specifications ahead of go-live
• Work closely with the Image Editor in refining retouch specifications and challenges across e-commerce categories
• Support Image Specialists with daily workload
• Support Image Editor with Internal Post Production
• Support creative retouch team when required
• Collaborate with on-set teams to improve image requirements from set
Skills & Experience
• Solid retouch experience, including high end Fashion
• Highly competent using Adobe photoshop and Bridge, iOS/Windows/MS Office
• Skilled in excel and reporting, using available data to inform decisions & innovations
• Solid experience with formatting imagery, filenames, metadata, colour profiles and compliance with style guides
• Familiarity with high volume environments
• Solid understanding of photography, lighting and composition
• Experience working with third party post-production houses a benefit
• Experience in asset management / studio software & DAM a benefit
