Key Account Manager
A global distributor for games and toys is looking for a key account manager to oversee its key partners across the Benelux region. This organisation has the license agreements for some of the largest and most prominent names in the market. It is a multi-billion-dollar organisation distributing product to over 80 countries, with offices in Hong Kong, China, London, France and Germany. Due to exponential year-on-year growth, all offices are growing the teams across all functions.
The key account manager will oversee 18 high profile partners across Holland, Belgium and Benelux. This role is fully remote therefore you can live anywhere in Holland. There will be some travel to meet with clients, attend exhibitions and shows, along with travel to offices across the UK and Europe. Your role will be to drive the commercial performance of your brand partner accounts to grow market share. You’ll be responsible for planning the marketing and sales promotion strategies with your brand partners and will develop key performance indicators to measure the overall success of these. This multifunctional role requires excellent collaboration with other departments such as marketing, accounting and supply chain.
You must be fluent in Dutch, with a good comprehension of English. You’ll be working exclusively with Dutch accounts which is why the language requirement is a necessity. Given the role is remote it is vital you are a strong communicator who is able to engage at all levels, both internally and externally. This role offers a high level of autonomy, almost entrepreneurial in the way you can approach it therefore the role requires a self-starter, that has the drive and determination to achieve commercial targets. You will have gained experience in the consumer sector and have experience managing key partner relationships, ideally with partners in retail.
In return they are offering a competitive salary of up to €65,000, a generous bonus and 30 days holiday, plus bank holiday entitlement.
