Our client is looking for a merchandising manager to join their team on a part-time, 12-month maternity cover contract. The charity supports with financial support where needed. With a national presence and a base in Victoria, this is a rare opportunity to bring your merchandising experience to a charity that truly changes lives.

This is a standalone role in a small and supportive team. While the job title includes “buying,” this is fundamentally a merchandising position, ideal for a confident merchandiser or a strong junior ready to step up.
You’ll be responsible for:
• Overseeing product planning and forecasting
• Liaising with suppliers for ordering merchandise
• Shaping regional strategies across 11 UK offices
• Working cross-functionally with finance, marketing, and comms teams
• Occasionally attending and helping with events (e.g., setting up stands)
You’ll report into the Director of Communications and will have full autonomy over merchandising decisions. There are no direct reports.

We’re Looking For
• Experienced merchandisers (or strong junior merchandisers)
• Confident planners with excellent communication skills
• Team players who are happy to roll up their sleeves and pitch in
• Someone proactive and hands-on – this is a small, collaborative environment
• Ideally someone with charity, retail, or product experience
