Merchandiser
We are now looking for a Merchandiser to support our Fashion department. This is a fixed term contract until March 2026.
About the Role
As a Merchandiser on the fashion team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping commercial success by leading the planning and forecasting of sales, stock, and margins across all channels. Working closely with Buying, Retail, and Finance teams, you will ensure alignment with the business strategy while maximising opportunities for growth.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading seasonal and in-season planning for sales, stock, margin, and open-to-buy (OTB), ensuring targets are aligned with business strategy.
Driving in-season trading decisions through detailed forecasting, analysis, and proactive planning of actions to optimise sales and reduce aged stock.
Overseeing intake management and troubleshooting late deliveries or shipment issues, while maintaining accurate forecasts and schedules.
Building strong cross-functional relationships to influence stakeholders and align category performance with company goals.
Managing, coaching, and developing a high-performing team, while also deputising for the Senior Merchandiser as needed.
Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.
Please see our Hybrid@Harrods policy on our Career Site for more information or speak to a member of our Talent Acquisition team if you have any questions regarding the requirements for this role.
