Merchandiser

A ladieswear fashion retailer who are loved by shoppers for their everyday essentials & occasion wear are looking for a Merchandiser to join the team in North East London.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in planning, trading, and optimising product performance across multiple categories. Working closely with Buying, Design, and Ecommerce teams, you’ll ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time — maximising sales, profit, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage seasonal merchandise plans and forecasts
- Analyse sales, stock, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks
- Drive trading performance through effective stock management and markdown strategies
- Work collaboratively with Buyers to build commercially successful ranges
- Monitor intake, WSSI, and margin performance
- Manage stock allocation and replenishment across stores and online
- Produce regular reports and present trading updates to senior stakeholders
- Support and mentor Assistant Merchandisers and junior team members

What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a Merchandiser role within fashion retail
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Commercial awareness with a passion for ladieswear trends
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using merchandising systems
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment

The salary is paying up to £50,000
