Our Non Food Buying Department is looking for an Officer to join their team. As part of this unique opportunity, you’ll be working in the heart of the department, meaning you’ll learn about a number of our key product categories as well as supporting the team with planning and the advertising of non food products, working closely with other departments across the business.
We seek a confident and driven Officer who possesses exceptional interpersonal skills, fosters a strong team culture and maintains a positive pro-active attitude. This individual should be capable of supporting our team by consistently delivering results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What you'll do
Assisting category managers with market research, trend scouting and price setting
Preparing weekly reports and presenting them to senior stakeholders
Handling samples for marketing, range innovation and price evaluation purposes
Dispatching samples to our international offices
Translating the packaging of our non food products
Analysing data to understand customer habits and influence buying decisions
Identifying problems and providing solutions
Liaising daily with various internal, external and international stakeholders
What you'll need
An advanced level of German is essential
A strong multi-tasker with excellent organisational skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
A passion for retail and products, as well as a deep interest in non food market
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot errors
Self-starter with the drive to shape their own role
Intermediate level Excel skills would be highly advantageous, but this can be taught
Previous experience in an office based environment
