Office Manager
An international, people-focused organisation with a collaborative culture and a strong presence across multiple markets is looking for an office manager. The role is based out of the Darmstadt office and is a close-knit team of around 30 colleagues, working closely with our larger London hub and wider global network. They pride ourselves on creating a supportive, inclusive environment where employees can thrive, and we’re committed to maintaining high standards across workplace operations, wellbeing, and employee experience.
They are looking for an experienced Office Manager to take ownership of day-to-day operations in the Darmstadt office, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a varied and hands-on role that extends beyond traditional office management, incorporating responsibilities across health & safety, inclusion, and HR administration. You will support the HR Director in personnel matters, manage time and attendance systems, coordinate payroll inputs, oversee supplier contracts, and manage fleet, rental, parking, and mobile phone agreements. You’ll also take the lead on health & safety initiatives, including fire safety, first aid coordination, and compliance checks, while acting as the Inclusion Officer for the site. Alongside this, you’ll manage office resources and hardware, organise meetings and events, oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, coordinate IT setups, handle travel bookings, support trade fair preparation, and play a key role in upcoming office projects including a planned office move.
They are looking for someone who is a proven Office Manager with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and confidently handle a broad and demanding workload. You’ll be a proactive self-starter who takes ownership, shows initiative, and is keen to continuously learn and expand your remit. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to work across teams and collaborate with colleagues in different international markets. If you enjoy variety in your role and want to contribute to a positive, well-run workplace where you can truly make an impact, this could be an excellent next step.
In return, they are offering a salary of between €45,000 and €50,000, depending on experience. There is a generous benefit package and a potential opportunity for some hybrid working, potentially one day per week, following successful completion of probation.
