Operational Reporting Manager (HR / People) - 18 Month Fixed Term Contract
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive leader to drive tactical reporting across our People function.
In this key role, you’ll collaborate with HR, Talent, and Business Operations to deliver high-quality reports that support data-driven decisions.
You’ll also help shape the future of strategic reporting by laying the groundwork for scalable, impactful analytics.

You will be responsible for:
• Own and manage the tactical reporting requirements across the People function, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document reporting needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive repository of reporting requirements to support future strategic reporting initiatives.
• Design and deliver operational dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Tableau, or other HRIS/reporting platforms.
• Support the ad hoc data request process through regular governance meetings to ensure guidelines are adhered to.
• Partner with the Data Quality Manager to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all people-related reports and dashboards.
• Support ad hoc reporting needs from HR, Talent, and other business units, providing insights and recommendations where appropriate.
• Partner with People Analytics and IT teams to transition from tactical to strategic reporting, ensuring a smooth handover of documented requirements.
• Manage external legislative and compliance reporting, ensuring timely, accurate submissions in line with regulatory requirements.
• Continuously improve reporting processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information and adhere to data protection regulations.
You will need:
• Knowledge of Data Reporting Tools: Proficiency in data reporting tools and software.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and provide data-driven insights that support business goals.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to present data insights clearly and effectively.
• Experience in Data Reporting: Previous experience in a data reporting role is desirable.:
• Relevant qualification in data analytics, statistics, or a related field.
Desirable:
• CIPD Qualification: CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience in HR Data Reporting
• Familiarity with data governance and privacy best practices.
• Understanding of strategic workforce planning and HR metrics
