Operations Support Administrator

Our Store Services team are now looking for an Operations Support Administrator to play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

This is a varied, fast‑paced role where you’ll sit at the heart of the operation, supporting both management and operational teams with essential administration, coordination and communication. If you’re organised, proactive and enjoy being the person who brings order to complexity, this could be a great opportunity for you.

About the Role

In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across our Store Services function, working closely with the Operations Support Assistant Manager and acting as a vital link between management, operatives and external partners. You’ll help ensure that day‑to‑day operations run efficiently by managing schedules, documentation, communication and operational coordination.

On a day‑to‑day basis, you will:

Support the Store Services management team with a wide range of administrative tasks, including correspondence, documentation and record‑keeping.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes and follow up on actions.
Assist with staff allocation planning on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Manage orders and stock administration, ensuring lead times are met and stock levels are maintained.
Maintain diaries for events, overtime and additional service requests, ensuring all details are accurate and up to date.
Act as a first point of contact for enquiries, resolving issues where possible and escalating appropriately.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with contractors, third parties and internal stakeholders.
Support the coordination of both reactive and planned operational activities, tracking timelines and milestones.
Prepare presentations, reports and supporting documentation for the management team.
You’ll also contribute to improving ways of working by supporting the development and implementation of new processes, while remaining flexible to support the wider team as operational needs change.

About You

You will be a highly organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a busy operational environment. Comfortable juggling multiple priorities, you’ll remain calm under pressure and take pride in delivering accurate, well‑organised work.

You will:

Be confident working independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with a wide range of stakeholders.
Be highly organised, with excellent time‑management skills and strong attention to detail.
Be proactive, self‑motivated and comfortable using your initiative to solve problems.
Be confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Be adaptable and flexible, with a willingness to support operational needs as they arise.
Experience in an administrative or operations support role would be beneficial, particularly within a fast‑paced or customer‑focused environment, where prioritisation and coordination are key to success.
