Pressing Operative

A new opportunity has arisen for a pressing operative to join this luxury retailer on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-end luxury environment, supporting the creation of exceptional garments and ensuring the highest standards of presentation and finish throughout the production process.

You will be responsible for pressing garments to an exceptional luxury standard throughout the sampling and production process, handling fabrics with care, carrying out final quality checks to ensure garments are crease-free, correctly shaped and ready and maintaining the pressing equipment to ensure a safe and organised work area.

The successful candidate will have previous experience as a pressing operative within a luxury fashion retailer and strong knowledge of pressing techniques for a variety of fabrics as well as excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

As a temp, you will receive a competitive salary rate that is paid on a weekly basis as well as paid holiday and the opportunity to join a pension scheme.
