Regional Financial Controller
An exciting opportunity has come up for a regional financial controller to join a successful global retailer based in one of their South East Asia offices.
The role is an integral role for the business, to lead the financial offshore business, as well as partnering with senior stakeholders across the wider business. You will be supporting with margins, and financial controls, to hit key KPIs.
The role:
• Management and control of operating budgets
• Ownership and compliance management of financial planning and reporting
• Implement financial risk management strategies and controls
• Implement Cyber Security compliance structure to combat threats
• Provide financial leadership across the Far East region
• Mentor, lead and develop a team of finance and IT professionals
The candidate:
• Strong commercial acumen and financial expertise in FP&A, Compliance, sourcing, IT, manufacturing or retail
• Experience leading project teams
• Able to work collaboratively with other teams such as Tax, Treasury, Supply Chain etc
• Able to support on delivering change and process improvements
• Be CPA / ACCA / CIMA Accountancy qualified
• Fluent in English, a knowledge of Mandarin would be advantageous but not essential
This is a really great opportunity to be part of a thriving international retailer, in a key location. The role is on a local contract paid in USD, so ideally you will need to be based within South East Asia (China, Vietnam, Cambodia). However, they could provide relocation assistance over for another location, but the local contract and benefits will apply.
