A well-established fashion and home retailer is looking for a confident and commercially minded operations manager to support the smooth running of one of its busy retail locations near Frimley.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys pace, structure, and developing high-performing teams. You’ll play a key part in driving operational excellence across stock flow, back-of-house processes, online fulfilment, and customer experience while helping create an environment where teams can thrive.

The Role
As Operations Manager, you’ll take ownership of the store’s operational performance, ensuring standards remain high and the customer journey runs seamlessly from stockroom to shop floor.

Working closely with the wider management team, you’ll lead from the front, support colleagues across multiple functions, and help deliver a smooth and efficient trading environment every day.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operational running of the store
- Lead and develop teams across stock, fulfilment, and service operations
- Manage deliveries, replenishment, and inventory accuracy
- Drive efficiency and identify opportunities to improve processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety standards
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and colleague development
- Collaborate with senior management to deliver store KPIs and trading goals
- Maintain high presentation and operational standards throughout the store

About You
- Previous experience in an operations manager or senior retail leadership role
- Strong organisational and people management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving retail environment
- Commercially aware with a proactive and practical approach
- Strong communicator with the ability to motivate and influence teams
- Experience within fashion, lifestyle, or home retail is advantageous
- Positive, adaptable, and customer-focused mindset
