Senior Assistant Merchandiser
A great opportunity has become available for a strong core merchandiser to join a fast-paced, fashion-led accessories brand with a strong presence across retail and ecommerce. The brand is known for delivering trend-driven collections with a commercial edge, offering stylish and accessible accessories that are central to completing the customer look.
As a core merchandiser, you will take ownership of trading your department, driving sales, stock and profitability through effective planning and analysis. You will manage allocations and replenishment across stores and online, ensuring stock is optimised to maximise performance. Working closely with Buying, Retail and Finance teams, you will provide actionable insights through daily and weekly trade reporting, alongside presenting performance updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
The successful candidate will be a confident and commercially focused merchandiser with strong analytical and trading skills gained within a fashion or accessories environment. You will be highly organised, proactive and comfortable making decisions in a fast-moving retail business. The ability to influence stakeholders, identify opportunities and react quickly to trading performance is essential. Experience using PowerBI and Oracle would be advantageous.
In return, the business offers a competitive salary of up to £38,000, alongside benefits including staff discount, pension scheme and enhanced maternity leave. This is a hybrid position with four days in the office and one day working from home.
