Senior Buyer - Garden

RHR are pleased to be recruiting for a Senior Buyer to join this successful and long established retailer in South London.

Trading predominantly within the garden tools and supplies category, this client is looking for a Senior Buyer to join their business

You will be responsible for developing the range to maximise financial returns. Working cross functionally and with an established supplier base, you will need to have a strong trade mentality, the ability to negotiate and take ownership for securing the best margins.

Key requirements for the role.

Proven previous experience as a Buyer across a similar product.

Commercial acumen, including the ability to work in cross functional teams.

Great communication and Leadership experience. Showing resilience and a desire perform at a high level.

Able to work at pace in a reactive and pro active role.

Numerical ability, with an analytical and trade focused mindset.

Strong IT skills including MS Office.

The role will require working in the office and attending supplier meetings, Trade shows as needed.

In return you can expect an excellent package with a basic between 75 - 90K depending on experience.
