Senior Graphic Designer - 12 month FTC

As a Senior Graphic Designer you will:

Take the lead in graphic design at Selfridges, using your expertise to elevate our in-store and experiential offerings through compelling, forward-thinking design that strengthens and evolves our brand identity.
Create inspiring visual content for use across all four of our stores.
Collaborate closely with fellow Graphic Designers and partner with the wider Digital and Creative Vision teams to bring campaigns to life—contributing to the development, direction, and execution of bold, innovative ideas.
Be confident working across a diverse range of projects, from designing printed invitations to leading and delivering full-scale campaign rollouts.
Take projects from initial creative direction through to final delivery—this includes conducting research, developing mood boards, progressing designs, building presentations, briefing the Production Team and preparing print ready artwork.
Effectively manage your time across multiple projects to ensure all deadlines are consistently met.
Confidently present your work and articulate your design rationale to internal stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with fellow Designers within the team to foster a cohesive and creative working environment.
Review brand-led graphics for in-store applications, providing constructive feedback when needed.
Work collaboratively with other creative teams, including Windows and Visual Merchandising, to develop innovative ideas and creative solutions for in-store and printed graphics.

A bit about you
A strong interest in culture, media, and the arts is essential.
You should be attuned to the zeitgeist - staying connected and up to date with trends and movements both within and beyond graphic design - while continuously seeking inspiration to inform and elevate your creative work.
You’ll have an impressive portfolio showing a variety of projects and creative executions, across printed and in store graphics - from printed invites, through to OOH, hoardings, and graphics for windows and Visual Merchandising sites.
Experience and skill in typography and creative graphic design in agency / cultural sector / retail setting
You’ll have demonstrative experience in a mid to senior level design role, with experience and an appreciation of a collaborative approach through teamwork as well as ability to develop ideas independently.
Commercially astute. You will be attuned to both the Selfridges brand, its competitors, and the wider retail landscape of fashion, accessories, beauty, home, food and drink.
Proven background in designing high-quality work for premium brands with a strong portfolio
Ability to navigate through a complex and fast-paced environment, and able to demonstrate good time management skills to keep on top of workload.
Experience with Mac and Adobe Creative Cloud
