We’re looking for a Logistics Team Manager who can lead from the front, inspire a driver team, and make sure our operations run like clockwork. This is a role for someone who thrives on responsibility, loves motivating people, and takes pride in delivering results.
What You’ll Do
Lead & Inspire
Manage, coach and support our driver team with daily briefs, regular check-ins and clear communication.
Recruit, train and develop new drivers, creating a strong, engaged team.
Plan rotas weeks in advance, ensuring cover and smooth operations.
Build a culture of accountability, teamwork and pride in every delivery.
Keep Us Compliant & Safe
Ensure full compliance with DVSA regulations and Health & Safety standards.
Oversee vehicle checks, maintenance and transport systems.
Use Tachomaster to monitor hours and ensure legal compliance.
Lead on incident investigations and vehicle CCTV management.
Drive Operational Excellence
Work within budget, finding smarter, cost-effective solutions.
Reduce fuel use and vehicle damage through training and performance management.
Keep data accurate across all systems and processes.
Ensure deliveries hit their windows, every time, without compromise on safety.
Protect the Brand
Maintain the high standards Krispy Kreme is known for — from vehicle cleanliness to punctual, friendly service.
Support store deliveries, POS changes, and consumables replenishment to keep operations running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience leading teams in logistics or transport.
Excellent people skills — able to communicate, coach and inspire.
Strong organisational ability with a sharp eye for detail.
Knowledge of transport legislation and safety compliance.
Experience with logistics systems, route planning and reporting.
A CPC qualification (National/International) would be an advantage.
The Details
Competitive salary (paid monthly).
45 hours per week – typically 9-hour shifts, 5 days (Tuesday–Saturday).
Flexibility required — our drivers head out as early as 2am, so shifts can run between midnight and 4pm.
