Store Manager
A ladies fashion retailer based in Watford are seeking a passionate, service focused and commercially driven Store Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and day-to-day operations of the store. You’ll inspire and develop your team to deliver outstanding customer service, maintain high visual merchandising standards, and achieve sales and KPI targets.
You will lead by example on the shop floor, creating a welcoming and fashion-focused environment that keeps customers coming back.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and develop the store team to achieve sales goals and deliver excellent service
- Drive store performance through strong commercial awareness and KPI management
- Maintain exceptional visual merchandising and brand standards
- Manage recruitment, training, coaching, and team development
- Ensure excellent stock management and operational efficiency
- Analyse sales figures and identify opportunities to maximise performance
- Deliver a positive customer journey and resolve customer queries professionally
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety standards
Requirements:
- Previous Store Manager or Deputy Manager experience within ladies fashion retail
- Passion for fashion, styling, and customer service
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Commercially focused with experience driving sales and KPIs
- Energetic, hands-on, and highly organised
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Flexible and able to work weekends and peak trading periods
The salary is paying up to £37,000
