Supply Chain Coordinator - Maintenance - 6 Month Secondment

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you’ll provide essential support across our supply chain operations, focusing on stocktake data management, validating non-catalogue items, and building strong relationships with suppliers. You’ll also work closely with Field Delivery Managers and the Quality Manager, ensuring everything runs efficiently, accurately, and in line with compliance standards.

You will be responsible for:
Administrative Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to Field Delivery Managers and the Quality Manager.
- Support scheduling, meeting coordination, and documentation of actions and decisions. - Assist with the preparation of reports, trackers, and communications for internal and external stakeholders.
Stocktake & Inventory Support
- Interact with stocktake data to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for optimisation.
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation of stock levels.
- Support periodic and ad-hoc stock audits, ensuring timely data entry and follow-up actions.
Part Add Request Review & Validation
- Review basic part requests to assess compliance with procurement policies and operational standards.
- Identify inconsistencies, errors, or anomalies in submitted requests and escalate where necessary.
- Analyse cost implications and suggest alternatives where appropriate.
- Maintain records of approvals and support compliance tracking.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory, and supplier performance.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support contract and compliance documentation processes.
You will need:
Experience working with stocktake data and inventory systems. (P&I & EPC)
Ability to assess procurement and part requests for compliance and accuracy.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify data anomalies and inconsistencies.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Understanding of parts/tools used across trades with Tesco Maintenance.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
Experience in supply chain coordination, logistics, or administrative support.
Strong digital literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint).
Familiarity with ERP or supply chain platforms is desirable.
