Hiring multiple positions across the entire department for the new RDC opening in Leeds. Please advise which area you would prefer to work in your application. All departments require 1 out of 3 weekend cover and shifts are indicated below *these are to be used as a guide
Inbound Goods = between 06:00- 08:00 -16:30
Promotional = 08:00 - 16:30
Availability = 06:30 - 15:00
As a Supply Chain Officer at Lidl in our Inbound Goods team, you’ll be responsible for making sure all our incoming stock gets to where it needs to be on time, 24/7/365 days a year (and leap years). From balancing warehouse constraints to ensuring all orders are done and dusted, to minimising waste by make sure stock is as fresh as when it first came in
In our Promotional team you’ll be responsible for improving the availability and boosting the sell through of all our in-store promo items. From analysing data and identifying trends, to co-ordinating with stores to reviewing merchandising and POS campaigns
In our Store availability & Freshness team, you’ll be a constant support to store availability through the analysis and smooth running of store replenishment systems. From implementing strategies to help resolve underperforming products and/or stores, to supporting turnover and cost saving opportunities with your expert knowledge.

What you'll do
Inbound Goods:
Analysing and making sure of the availability of listed items
Proactively managing the demand of listed items
Confidently making frequent independent decisions regarding orders
Building strong, lasting relationships with suppliers
Making sure our ordering systems are accurate and regularly updated
Always liaising with stores to support their key availability objectives
Promotional:
Making sure orders to suppliers are placed on time and deliveries to RDCs are managed
Managing stakeholder relationships within the region and HO
Creating and maintaining the promotional allocations for stores
Effectively analysing and amending forecasts and data to identify trends
Monitoring and optimising seasonal campaign performance
Creating demand forecasts for promotional lines and seasonal campaigns
Availability & Freshness:
Analysing and making sure the availability of listed items
Proactively preparing relevant employee training
Making frequent independent decisions regarding orders
Confidently building strong, lasting relationships with suppliers
Making sure our ordering systems are accurate and regularly updated
Always liaising with stores to support their key availability objectives
What you'll need
Degree-level education or equivalent relevant experience
An analytical mind and a methodical approach with strong PC skills and an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word and Google Workspace
The ability to identify trends and adjust strategies accordingly
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Fluency in German is desirable but not essential
