Supply Planning Coordinator
Our Supply Chain team are looking for a Supply Planning Coordinator to support the implementation of our Supplier Engagement strategy working within Hammersmith. This is an exciting opportunity to join a flourishing team with lots of opportunities for growth and development.
About the role
In this role you will be responsible for building collaborative working relationships with all suppliers & related internal business teams across Fashion and General Merchandise categories to ensure suppliers have all the necessary training and documentation for the supplier portal. You will also be responsible for ensuring delivery schedules are regularly received and updated from all suppliers to drive forecast accuracy and support resource and capacity planning for our distribution centre.
Key Accountabilities include:
• Supporting the project team in driving adoption of the supplier portal - serve as a point of contact for both our brand partners & business teams to support their use of the portal, facilitating necessary training, and creating and maintaining relevant documentation/SOPs.
• Monitor EDI message failures – ensuring the appropriate escalation process is followed/raised with Cegedim and other key stakeholders to support resolution.
• Manage the day-to-day performance of our digital freight forwarder, monitoring lead times against agreed SLAs for all modes of transport & proactively addressing or escalating any operational challenges that arise with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Suppliers and Merchandising teams across the business to facilitate best practice PO management - ensure timely receipt and action of delivery schedules to support forecast accuracy, aiding resource and capacity planning of weekly inbound volumes.
• Actively feedback/contribute to the rollout of our Supplier Engagement Strategy. Provide analytics and insights to support operational improvements for both Harrods and our Valued brand partners Supply Chain by attending monthly/quarterly engagement meetings where this information is highlighted.
• Use applications such as SAP, Analytics for Office (AFO), the Supplier Portal and our Freight Forwarding Platform to generate and maintain supply chain reports. This includes supplier performance scorecards, data-driven forecasts, and freight forwarding KPI reports.
