Technical Director

An exciting opportunity has come up for technical director to join a large global retailer in their new Dubai headquarters.
This role is an integral part of the groups expansion and will see you head a up a team of technologists and pattern makers.

The role:
• Manage the entire technical process from production to final seal
• Train, develop and coach a team of technologists and pattern makers
• Work in collaboration with designers, production and buyers
• Ensure quality is maintained to a high level
• Look at new technologies and materials

The candidate:
• Previous experience at director level with a retailer
• Strong technical understanding including Gerber experience
• Team management experience
• Able to relocate, but also travel to production / manufacturing hubs
