Here at Peacocks, we have a fantastic opportunity for Ecommerce Warehouse Operatives at our Nantgarw Distribution Centre based in South Wales, reporting to the Shift Manager.

We are looking for Ecommerce Operatives who will work together with our skilled Colleagues to ensure the continued success of our leading chain of women’s fashion.

Hours:

The depot operates a rotating shift pattern of 06:00 hours to 14:00 hours and 14:00 hours to 22:00 hours. Your normal working week will be 39 hours, worked 5 days over 7 days.

Role: To assist with the processing of all Customer orders in an accurate and timely manner, providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

Ø To process customer orders, including picking, packing, and despatching of e-commerce orders across the e-commerce operations.

Ø To efficiently manage the receipt and locating of goods-in via HHT (handheld terminals)

Ø Pick all customer orders in a timely and accurate manner

Ø Check to ensure all products are received correctly to the Advance Shipping Note.

Ø Maintain a safe clean and tidy working environment, ensuring that Health and Safety regulations are always adhered to.
General:
Ø To conduct self and always interact with colleagues in an appropriate and professional manner.

Ø To ensure that mechanical handling equipment is operated safely, in line with company procedures and health and safety legislation.

Ø To ensure that all equipment used during the course of the shift is treated with care and attention and is returned intact to the Operations office at the end of the shift.

Ø To ensure that safe systems of work and procedures, regarding the use and care of all equipment and machinery are always followed.

Ø To maintain a safe, clean, and tidy working environment, ensuring that Health & Safety regulations are adhered to.

Ø Upon request of the Operations Team Leader/Supervisor to carry out any other ad hoc duties for the Operations department.

To assist in any other duties that may be necessary to meet the overall requirements of the Company.
