As a Department Manager at our Luton Equipment Centre, you’ll make sure your team thrives at work and all our operations and procedures run smoothly. You’ll play a vital role in keeping our work moving and business booming, while managing your team of Warehouse Operatives.

From leading by example on the warehouse floor to planning rotas and supporting your team to do their best work, you’ll be at the heart of what we do. This is a hands-on role where your organisational skills and ability to build strong relationships will be used every day.

What you'll do


Lead and motivate your team to deliver great work
Keep daily warehouse processes running safely and smoothly
Plan rotas, manage absence, and keep up to date with their training
Monitor KPIs and drive performance to hit targets
Build strong relationships with your team

What you'll need


At least 2 years’ experience in logistics, warehouse, or operations management
A proven track record in leading and developing people
Great organisation and problem-solving skills
Confidence to make important decisions and keep things moving
Strong communication skills and a hands-on approach to everything you do
