Warehouse Operative – Various Roles – Christmas Temp
Our Distribution team is now looking for Warehouse Operatives to join us at our Thatcham site for the high season during the Christmas period. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative and fast-paced environment where you will help bring the magic of Harrods to life for our customers. These temporary roles will run for two months between October and January.
About the Role
In this role, you will play an essential part in the daily operations of our Distribution Centre. There are multiple roles available, including Warehouse Operative, Site Services, Transportation, and Warehouse Administration. Roles will be allocated based on your interests and the best fit. A strong understanding of driver regulations and route planning
Good knowledge of London and the Home Counties
Warehouse Administration

Assisting with warehouse administration tasks and ensuring all queries are handled promptly and effectively
All roles are based at our Distribution Centre, a modern, clean, and welcoming facility designed to support an efficient and collaborative working environment. Many of these roles are hands-on and physically active, involving standing, walking long distances, and safely lifting and moving products up to 23 kg. On average, you will complete around 20,000 steps a day.
As part of the team at Thatcham, you will also benefit from a heavily subsidised canteen offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and all-day snacks, local recognition schemes with £25 prizes, exclusive giveaways, and staff trips to our iconic Knightsbridge store. In addition, Harrods offers a range of company-wide benefits including subsidised medical and dental cover, discounted gym membership, and more.
About You
You will bring a strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail, essential for handling high-value luxury goods with care. You will be dependable, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You will also have:
A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn new skills
Confidence in performing manual handling tasks safely
Excellent timekeeping and a flexible approach to support your team
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
