As a Warehouse Team Leader, this role oversees the day-to-day operations, ensuring Costa Coffee products are dispatched accurately, safely, and on time. In this role you will be leading and supporting the warehouse operatives, driving target measures, maintaining standards as well as working closely with management to drive performance.

What you’ll do
Being an Warehouse Team Leader is about so much more than bringing our coffee to the world. It’s your chance to stir up real success - which means you’ll be:
• Lead, mentor and motivate a team of warehouse operators to meet performance goals
• Allocate tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations
• Coordinate deliveries with relevant stakeholders to ensure KPI’s are achieved
• Safely operate forklift equipment to load and unload goods in line with health and safety standards
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain a clean and efficient working environment
• Accurately complete and save all documentation, using IT systems to improve efficiency and compliance
Who you are
It’s your unique ingredients we’re interested in:
• Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Practically Excel & Outlook)
• Valid Forklift Licence (Counterbalance and/or Aisle Master is highly desirable)
• Good understanding of warehousing and distribution operations
• Knowledge of industrial packing techniques and import / export procedures
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices within a warehouse environment
• Customer focussed with the ability to deliver a high standard of service

This role will be based at our Basildon Roastery.
