B&M have announced that they have had a strong start to the new financial year.
In the UK, revenues rose by 8.3% in the April-to-June period.
Total group revenues jumped by 21% to £796.3m.
B&M is expanding rapidly. It now has 846 stores in the UK, 578 being B&M outlets and 268 of its Heron convenience store chain.
"The business has performed strongly in the quarter despite demanding comparables of +7% LFL's in the previous year and a sluggish market environment," said chief executive Simon Arora.
