The long-running patent row between the world’s two biggest smartphone companies will be resumed in California, with Apple accusing Samsung of copying distinctive features from its devices. The Korean firm has thrown the same allegation at Apple.
Apple wants $40 from every device sold that it judges to have infringed its design features.
The new trial is the latest in a series of lawsuits between the two companies. The previous trail was held in summer 2012 where a jury found in Apple’s favour. Samsung is appealing that decision.
