According to reports, Apple are going to push its Beats streaming music service to all iPhones via the latest update to the iOS system in the new year.

Beats, which is better known for its headphones, was purchased by Apple for $3 billion (£1.9 billion) in May this year.

The move lines Apple up to compete with the current market leader Spotify as Apple will be able to pre-install the app on iPhones and iPads and reach new customers.
