Apple has unveiled its smartwatch collection, which is due to go on sale on April 24th, revealing that the 38 models will range in price from £299 to £13,500. Prices are contingent to the straps they are bought with and the metals the watches are made from.
The larger 42mm models of the watch will cost about $50 more than the 38mm versions in the lower-priced ranges.
A press event held in San Francisco held few surprises about the wearable technoilogy beyond the fact that the mid-range stainless steel edition would start at £479 and goes up to £949 including VAT.The watch can also interact with technology around the home such as opening garage doors remotely.
However, many of the functions of the watch depend on the owner already possessing an iPhone 5 or later.
