Two top fashion brands, Michael Kors and Hugo Boss have announced that they will be opening flagship stores at the Cabot Circus shopping centre in Bristol. Victoria Secret, another international brand has also taken a space.

The new stores will be close to Gant, Harvey Nichols and Apple, with the new Hugo Boss store covering 4,700 sq ft over two floors.

Stephen Born, managing director northern hub at Hugo Boss, said: “Since establishing a presence at Cabot Circus in 2008, Hugo Boss has resonated with local shoppers seeking luxury fashion in a premium destination. We are delighted to take such a prominent flagship store at the entrance to Quakers Friars, which will allow us to curate an even wider collection for our customers.”

The new Michael Kors store will be its first in the South West.

Martin Bull from Hammerson commented: “Quakers Friars continues to appeal to premium global brands, such as Michael Kors, which has chosen to make its debut in the South West at Cabot Circus. At the same time, we are witnessing improving confidence amongst our established brands, such as Hugo Boss, taking larger stores to optimise their retail offering, against a continuing trend of growing sales and footfall. Providing such a broad and vibrant retail offer for our shoppers is key to ensuring Cabot Circus remains the region’s leading retail and leisure destination.”
