Details of the long-awaited merger between Carphone Warehouse and Dixons Retail is expected to be revealed as early as this week, according to reports.

The two companies confirmed that they were in talks in February but said last month that they were taking more time to discuss the details of the merger which would create a combined group to be known as Carphone Dixons.
