Outerwear retailer Superdry, whose clothing range suffered due to the unseasonably mild weather, has announced the immediate departure of its chief operating officer Susanne Given.
Ex-boss of the Co-operative Group, Euan Sutherland, will take over as chief executive as he succeeded Julian Dunkerton, who founded the company 30 years ago.
It has been reported that in the 26 weeks to 25 October like-for-like sales fell by 4.1%, however in December Mr Sutherland said he had already identified “some parts of our operations that we can improve”, which included a more detailed analysis of Superdry’s customers and more frequent product deliveries to stores.
It has also been reported that SuperGroups shares are down a third over the last year.
