Fears for the Chinese economy were allayed this week, when it was revealed that the county’s import and export markets recovered in April.
In the first three months of the year, the world’s second largest economy expanded by 7.4%, down from 7.7% in the previous quarter.
Exports in April grew 0.9% on the previous year, reversing a two-month decline, whilst imports rose 0.8% on a decline of 11.3% in March.
