Ted Baker retail sales increased by 10.1% in the eight weeks to January 9th as it continued to expand with concessions and new stores.

The fashion brand said gross margins were in line with expectations and there was no significant promotional activity before Christmas.

The company’s expansion continued during the period with additional concessions launching in the UK, France and Spain, as well as a new store opening in California. Licence partner openings included new outlets in Melbourne and Sydney, a new concession in Mexico and a new store in Saudi Arabia.

Ted Baker said its e-commerce sales increasing by 39% in the eight weeks.
