The Co-op has agreed a deal for a trial period to provide Superdrug with food-to-go items such as sandwiches, salads and fruit.

The trial will see the Co-op providing seven Superdrug branches in airports and railway stations with an initial supply of more than 40 of its own brand products.

Superdrug customers will be able to choose a Superdrug snack and drink alongside a Co-op main to complete the meal deal, priced at under £4.

The participating branches include the East Midlands Bristol and Edinburgh airports and stores in railway stations in Brighton, Sheffield, London’s Victoria and also Fenchurch Street.

Chris Brown, Superdrug head of personal care and convenience, said: “We are delighted to be introducing Co-op food-to-go in some of our travel branches. We know our customers will appreciate the range available, and the fact it offers a great value choice for busy commuters and travellers.”
