Luxury department store Harvey Nichols has appointed former O2 head of brand Shadi Halliwell as group marketing and creative director. The role is a newly-created post, following a decision to split the company’s marketing and press departments.
Ms Halliwell left O2 earlier this year. Whilst with the communications group she had been instrumental in launching the O2 entertainment venue and the company’s Priority Tickets and Priority Moments loyalty campaigns.
She will start at Harvey Nichols in early June, with responsibility for brand development, advertising and marketing.
Ms Halliwell commented: “I have been a huge fan of Harvey Nichols for the past 20 years – the heritage of the brand and everything it represents in the luxury retail market. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to further develop its future in the UK and internationally.”
