The high street fashion retailer French Connection saw its sales increase by 2.1% on a like-for-like basis in the 16 weeks to 20 November.
In a statement issued today, French Connection saw the performance of its UK/Europe retail business had improved despite the lower levels of clearance activity early in the period.
The retailer attributed the improvement in its sales to its new Autumn 2013 range, which was the first season collection created by its new design team.
The retailer said that it was going to continue making good progress but wouldn’t be able to predict how well it was doing until full year results arrived after Christmas.
