Georg Jensen has opened a new London flagship boutique on Mayfair's Mount Street.

The opening was attended by designers Ilse Crawford and Tom Dixon and architect Dame Zaha Hadid.

The design of the boutique, which was conceived by Danish interior architect David Thulstrup, offers a gallery-like environment for the complete Georg Jensen collections, including it’s newly launched premium gold jewellery range.

Downstairs customers will be able to view the vintage silverware and jewellery display, alongside signature hollowware pieces, silver gifts, silver cutlery and the brand’s soon to be launched silverware collaboration with designer Marc Newson.

David Chu, chief executive and creative director of Georg Jensen said, "The launch of this beautiful store marks a new chapter for Georg Jensen in London, a city that we've had a presence in since 1926. With a renewed sense of energy in all our collections, along with the location and interior will provide the ideal backdrop for the many stories that we look forward to telling through our innovative designs."

The opening of the store follows closely to the opening of the new Georg Jensen boutiques in London's Royal Exchange, Westfield's luxury retail hub The Village, and concessions within Selfridges Wonder Room and Harrods silverware department. The brand has also opened stores in Munich, Oslo and Beijing in 2015.
