German union Verdi has called on workers at Amazon’s German operations to go on strike as part of a long-running dispute over pay. The move follows a strike last month in which hundreds of workers walked out.
Amazon employs 9,000 workers across nine distribution centres in Germany, its second-biggest market behind the US.
