Google has reportedly identified a location for its first retail store, just around the corner from Apple in New York’s SoHo area.

According to online reports, Google is planning an 8,000 sq ft shop but it is not known when it is scheduled to open.

Google already operates Android stores in Australia, Indonesia and India - branded as Androidland - as well as its Chromezone ‘mini shops’ within PC World, which sell the brand’s Chromebook laptops.
