H&M have announced that it will open its first store in India this year, the first in a run of important openings for the fashion retailer in 2014.
This year will also see H&M open debut branches in the Philippines and Australia, adding to its current presence in 53 markets worldwide with over
3,100 stores employing over 116,000 people.
³We are very excited to open our first store in India. It is one of the most exciting countries in the world right now, with so much potential,² says Karl-Johan Persson, CEO of H&M.
