Homeware chain Habitat has re-launched its Tottenham Court Road flagship store, including a new fitted kitchen studio, cookshop, gallery space, expanded furniture and upholstery floor alongside a new lighting department.
The store has been Habitat’s main flagship since 1983 and has survived the 2008-2011 period when Habitat made losses of £88 million and fell into administration.
Now part of the Home Retail Group which includes Argos and Homebase, Habitat’s recovery is beginning to gain momentum with 82 mini Habitat stores rolled out over the past three years.
